Tibetan writer released on bail, trial pending

Oct. 15 (HighPeaksPureEarth): Tibetan writer Tagyal (pen-name: Shogdung), who was arrested April this year for critical writings on Chinese handling of 2008 protests in Tibet, has been released on bail pending trial, reported Beijing-based Tibetan writer Woeser on her blog.

His lawyer Li Fangping confirmed Oct. 14 afternoon that the writer is now home and in good mental and physical state.
