Tibetan Lama honoured with social service award

Dec 10 (Phayul): An India-based Tibetan Lama has been honoured with a prestigious “Bharat Jyoti Award” for his commendable social services. His Eminence Mindrolling Khenchen Rinpoche was presented the award during the conference of “Global Participation in India’s Economic Development” at New Delhi, organized by India International Friendship Society last week.

Minling Khenchen Rinpche, considered the second highest in hierarchy of Mindrolling Lineage has received numerous transmissions and empowerments from His Holiness Dalai Lama, Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyenste Rinpoche, Penor Rinpoche, Trulzhig Rinpoche, and many other respected Teachers.
