May 4 (PressTelegram): Amnesty International honored His Holiness the Dalai Lama with its inaugural edition of Shine A Light On Human Rights Award on May 4 at Long Beach in California.

Amnesty International’s U.S. executive director Larry Cox said the Dalai Lama has “tirelessly and peacefully defended the rights of people everywhere” for over 50 years.
