A Tibetan Settlement officer in Nepal honoured for exemplary community service

Dharamshala: The office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama will webcast His Holiness’ dialogue with students and faculty of Delhi University on topic titled “What is Life All About”. There will be three sessions on 9 and 10 August.

His Holiness will also deliver a lecture on “Ethics for the New Millennium” at the university’s convention hall on the afternoon of 10 August. The talk is held in memory of the great scientist and academician, D R Kothari, who is regarded as the architect of defence science in India. The Government of India honoured him with Padma Bhushan in 1962 and Padma Vibhushan in 1973.

According to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Representative Kalon Tempa Tsering, the Embassy of Czech Republic in Delhi will host a dinner reception for His Holiness in honour of his 75th birthday.
