Representative Ngodup Dongchung attends prayer meeting for late George Fernandes

Mr. Ngodup Dongchung, Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi, kasur Dolma Gyari, staff of Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the members of Local Tibetan Community led by Samyeling Tibetan Settlement Officer attended a prayer meeting this morning on the first death anniversary of Former Indian Defense Minister George Fernandes, who had been a life-long staunch supporter of Tibet, at Prithviraj Road Cemetery in New Delhi. Representative Ngodup Dongchung also congratulated the family of late George Fernandes, who was posthumously, awarded the prestigious Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India this year on the occasion of the 71st Republic Day.
