Mr. Tsewang Gyalpo Arya appointed Bureau Secretary

Mr. Tsewang Gyalpo Arya joined Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the new Secretary, replacing outgoing secretary Mr. Palden Dhondup. As per recent Kashag’s circular on staff placement, Mr. Palden Dhondup has been transferred to Dharamshala as the Joint Secretary of Department of Home, Central Tibetan Administration and Mr. Tsewang Gyalpo, Joint Secretary was appointed as the New Secretary of Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi with effect from 15 November 2013.

On 18 November, Bureau hosted a farewell reception for Mr. Palden Dhondup. During the session, Representative Kasur Tempa Tsering introduced and welcomed Mr. Tsewang Gyalpo  as the new secretary of Bureau.
