Announcement: I.C. Fee Increased
The revised rates in respect of services towards Identity Certificate (IC), such as issue of fresh IC; issue of fresh ICs whose validity has expired; issue of additional booklet; issue of IC towards lost/damaged ones etc.) has been revised from 01 October 2012 due to the revision in the passport service fees by the Government of India.
The revised rates are as follows:
1. Issue of fresh Identity Certificates – Rs. 1,100.00
2. Issue of additional booklet – Rs. 1,100.00
3. Renewal of expired IC (or) soon to be expired IC – Rs. 1,100.00
4. Issue of IC for the lost and damaged case – Rs. 2,100.00.
However, the revised rates for Tibetans will be made effective from August 15, 2012 retrospectively. Hence all those Tibetans who have submitted their IC applications at this Bureau (both directly in cash as well as via post with Demand Draft) between the period: 15 August 2012 to 30 September 2012 are hereby advised to send the difference amount (difference between the revised fee and the payment they made earlier) preferably by cash to the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi at the earliest so as to start processing their applications.
