Important Announcement on 2nd Special General Meeting

Repeat Announcement regarding the attendance of former members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile at the Second Special General Meeting of Tibetans
In order to discuss the ways in which the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people should respond to the tragic situation in Tibet today, the Kashag and the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile have jointly decided to hold a second Special General Meeting of Tibetans from 25 to 28 September 2012 in accordance with the provisions of Article 59 of the Charter of Tibetans in Exile. Not only was an announcement to call this meeting made at a press conference especially called for the purpose but also notifications were carried out by dispatching notices of it through the Offices of Tibet abroad as well as through the offices of the Tibetan Settlement Heads in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Nevertheless, because we are still unable to obtain the residential addresses or other contact information about a fair number of former members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, we are issuing this announcement. We therefore request all the former members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile to definitely inform the office of the Secretary General at the Secretariat of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile as soon as they see this announcement and let us know whether they would be attending the meeting. Those who are interested to take part in the meeting are required to enter their registration on 24 September at the Secretariat of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile at Dharamsala. We shall appreciate those who are able to bear their own expenses for the purposes of attending the meeting. Otherwise, costs of travel and related expenses will be disbursed in accordance with the amounts and types of expenses fixed for the purpose.
