HRW: China should address Tibetan grievances
Oct. 12 (HRW): Sophie Richardson, China director at Human Rights Watch said repressive policies against Tibetans “designed to curtail their right to free expression, association, and religious belief” are not only legitimate but also exacerbates tensions.
“Instead, the government should address the region’s underlying grievances,” the HRW said in a statement.
