Tibetan shot by Chinese police shares his ordeals
May 4 (Tibet.net): Tsewang Dhondup, a Tibetan man who escaped to India after being shot in stomach and on his left hand by Chinese security forces during March 2008 peaceful demonstration in Tibet visited Taiwan for medical treatment and spoke about his ordeal evading arrest by hiding in jungles for almost a year without proper food and medical treatment. Doctors in Taiwan have suggested amputating his hand but Tsewang has refused.
