NOTICE

Publisher Hansjorg Mayer has donated 360 copies of book titled “Jokhang: Tibet’s most sacred Buddhist Temple” to the Bureau to distribute it freely to the Tibetan schools, monasteries, libraries and institutions. The book contains exhaustive information about the historical background of the Temple with many illustrations and photos. It was collectively written by Gyurme Dorjee, Tashi Tsering, Heather Stoddard, and Andre Alexander.

Any institutions willing to obtain the book must collect it from the Secretary, Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama or from the Tibetan Settlement Officer of Samyeling Tibetan Settlement, Majnukatilla, Delhi, by providing the letter of authorization from the institution.
